Television and radio became important mediums to our clients and so we added these services. Here we developed an advantage over competitors because the learning curve in hearing, dentistry and plastic surgery had already been achieved, and the lighting skills we had learned in years of catalog photography made the production values of our spots the quality of national film spots, even though we were shooting video. But great spots don't work unless the media buy is right. Scott, my former partner graciously included me in media buying classes taught by the senior buyers at Moroch Associates where I learned the gross rating point system. If there is one advantage that has given us total success in every TV market we enter, this would be it. We have been privileged to produce national commercials for Starkey Laboratories using legendary actors like Mickey Rooney and Leslie Nielsen.

In August of 1995 we began writing and syndicating turn-key marketing materials for the specialties of Audiology/Hearing Aids, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Plastic Surgery. To serve these industries we developed direct marketing campaigns driven by patient-requested booklets. The booklets are offered FREE by clinicians on their websites, google adword campaigns, and in print and television media. When the consumer calls for the booklet, our client has a prospect on the phone. This system has proven to work brilliantly at a very low cost per new patient. Wilson Group now has clients using our system for finding new patients throughout the U.S and the United Kingdom.

Our titles include The Consumer's Guide to Hearing Aids, The Consumer's Guide to Plastic Surgery, The Consumer's Guide to Dental Implants, The Consumer's Guide to Tinnitus Relief, The Consumer's Guide to Hormone Replacement Therapy, and Best Practices in Cosmetic Dentistry.

In 2001 we renamed the firm Wilson Group Strategic Solutions, because this name better represented the full scope of help we were now giving our clients. No longer were we just producing leads through direct marketing, but we were being relied upon to identify and fix any problems affecting sales.

Internet marketing and search engine optimization are fast replacing the daily newspaper as the best way to reach new prospects. I am sad to say this because I truly love the newspaper. But to stay ahead of the curve my firm has added younger staff members who have never known life without social media and the world wide web. Our troop is a competitive team of really smart men and women who make the web work for them, and our clients are winning.

Over the last 10 years the Wilson Group has been selected to work for some of the finest healthcare companies in the United States: NewSound Hearing Aid Centers is one. The firm had three locations when they signed us to do their work. Today the firm has 52 clinics run by exceptionally-excellent staff. NewSound has the brains and appetite for more growth. Agencies wait a lifetime for a partner relationship like we enjoy with NewSound.

And there's more. Audibel Hearing Centers is a network of 450 individually-owned hearing practices to whom we provide local store marketing services. All American Hearing Centers is a national network of hearing aid centers to whom we provide web-based lead generation services.

We provide patient-finder programs for Denture-Free by 3 and Dental Implants Today, two dental networks of Nobel Biocare, the world leader in dental implants and esthetic dental solutions. We also provide patient marketing programs for esthetic dentists, oral surgeons and periodontists throughout the United States.

For all of our clients we provide ongoing telephone training. The best marketing in the world will fall short if the call can't be converted into an appointment.
